White Hall of the University of Tartu Museum
In the heart of Tartu, amidst the greenery of Toome Hill Park, the 13th-century cathedral houses the University of Tartu Museum. The White Hall, on the museum's third floor, is part of the former cathedral choir space and is one of the city's most prominent historical event venues.
The hall, which can accommodate 150 participants, is known for its magnificent chandeliers, spaciousness, beautiful balcony, and grand medieval pillars. The White Hall, with its excellent acoustics, is one of Tartu's most valued conference and concert venues, where the elegant interior creates a unique atmosphere for conferences, concerts, and formal receptions.
Although the White Hall initially appears classical and academic, it offers much more. Conferences, theater performances, concerts, anniversaries, and weddings have been held here – each unique and inspiring.
Your event program can be enhanced with guided tours or scientific experiments. During the summer months, the viewing platform is open, offering a captivating view of Tartu.
