Viscosa Cultural Factory

The historic Viscosa Cultural Factory in Hiiumaa is a unique environment for creative people and visitors.

This is the largest building complex in Hiiumaa. In the early 19th century, a factory for the production of artificial silk was built here. Unfortunately, due to World War I, the factory only managed to produce one batch. Later, a fish cannery operated here. The building and its surroundings have been partially renovated, preserving authentic factory elements.

Viscosa's industrial architecture creates a special atmosphere. Come here to enjoy music, theater, art, and culture! Accommodation is available, guided tours are available, and a café is open in the summer!
