Visit Estonia 2026 rep agencies' meet-up, June 14-18
2026 representatives' meet-up, June 14 - 18, vol 6
We are delighted to announce the Team Estonia get-together taking place 14th - 18th June!
This will be the 6th edition of our meet-ups, bringing together our B2B representation agencies, PR agencies, Visit Estonia market managers, media team, and thematic coordinators.
Some of you are already familiar with many corners of Estonia, while for others this will be your very first visit. This time, we are heading to the traditional heart of South Estonia and Setomaa - a region known for its UNESCO-listed singing tradition, hilly landscapes, and rural charm. As before, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience the destination hands-on, but also time to learn from one another’s experiences in promoting Estonia. And yes, some homework awaits, as per usual.
Scroll down to explore the itinerary (details will be added gradually) and read more about the destination we’re heading to!
NB! June offers Estonia’s longest daylight hours, perfect for enjoying the famous white nights, but the weather can also be a little moody. We recommend packing a waterproof jacket and something warm just in case; surprises are always possible, especially during longer outdoor stays😊And comfy footwear to venture in the nature!
Our team is confident that, just like previous meet-ups, we’re in for a great time together!
Your itinerary:
Sunday, June 14th / the arrival day
Individual arrivals.
We allow ourselves to assume that you are experienced enough to either take a taxi or public transport to the hotel (15min).
We recommend downloading the BOLT app (that is available also in several other countries), this Estonian platform gets you a car with very reasonable prices. BOLT stop is just opposite the exit of Tallinn Airport's Arrival hall (marked with green Bolt signage).
Check in to Swissotel Tallinn.
The hotel is located in the city centre's business area, about 15min walk from the old town, but a hop away from department store Stockmann and shopping centre Viru Keskus (that also features a food court).
The hotel also has a wellness area with a pool and saunas, so if you have time - bring swimwear.
For a nightcap - their 30th floor bar Horisont with great views over Tallinn!
For the early arrivers, a tip is the nearby Päris Restaurant & Bakery - for example for a Sunday brunch 11 - 15.
On this day, your only task is to arrive!

The assignment in short - we would like you to help answer, in regards to your markets:
Where is the real growth coming from?
Where are we missing opportunities?
What has actually changed in traveler behavior?
What is the one opportunity we are not using enough yet?
What should we STOP / START / SCALE this or next year?
And please also reflect briefly on business tourism - what makes sense and where is the potential?
PS From Visit Estonia we expect almost a 100% turnout on the session, plus some more people from the management - all to learn from the pros about our target markets and the insights.

Tuesday, June 16th / Day in the South
09:30 the day of exploration starts. Check out from V Spa Hotel.
South Estonia is a place where time slows down and nature gently takes the lead - rolling hills, deep forests, lakes wrapped in morning mist, and villages where traditions are still lived, not staged. At its heart lies the Seto Kingdom, a culturally rich borderland where ancient songs echo through generations, faith and folklore intertwine, and a strong sense of identity shapes everyday life. It’s a landscape of quiet beauty and soulful encounters with heritage, with nature, and with yourself.
We will dive into the setting to have a front seat in the experience, guided by a local - Helen.
We will visit some main local sites and also a newer addition - Ilmaveere that is owned by a celebrity couple of a singer and an actor.
Overnight stay is set in Setomaa Turismitalu and as rural as it gets - be ready 😊

Wednesday, June 17th
Day in South Estonia - programme continues with nature encounters.
9:00 Day starts from the Seto region towards Taevaskoda, one of the most attractive sites in Southern Estonia. The sandstone outcrops and the ancient river form the most beautiful part of the Ahja River Landscape Reserve.
10:00 We will divide into two groups and switch activities:
- Guided forest immersion trip to experience the forest from a different perspective.
- A relaxed boat ride on the riverboat Lonny, enjoying the views on the unique sandstone outcrops of the Ahja River and listening to some stories about the area. With some luck, you may also spot various bird species during the ride, from common ducks and herons to the very rare South Estonian beauty, the colourful kingfisher.
12:45 We will gather as a group and take a short bus ride to a RMK site of Valgesoo bog and hiking area, where a forest restaurant lunch setting will be waiting for us.
PS! The Valgesoo watchtower is located in the Valgesoo bog, one of the 20+ places recommandable to discover in South Estonia and is especially suited to all nature enthusiasts.
14:15 bus departure back to the capital - get ready for a longer (3h) trip where you can catch up with your emails, daily scrolling portion or just a nap😊
Some of you will be leaving on evening flights, and we will wave to them at Tallinn Airport.
For those staying overnight in Tallinn:
17:30 Check-in at Hyatt Place Tallinn, a newly opened (late 2025) hotel on the city harbour's side, about 10min walk to the old town.
Short walk for dinner in Kalaranna area.
19:00 Dinner at restaurant KOGU, offering a mix of local produce and Estonian and Baltic culinary traditions.
