Tõrvanina Beach and camping area

Tõrvanina Beach is located in Hiiumaa, near the city of Kärdla. It is one of the island's most peaceful natural places.

The beach is renowned for its white, singing sands, and the seabed is also sandy. The sea deepens quickly enough, offering a refreshing swim option for those who love the water.

The camping area has bonfire sites and picnic grounds, making it the perfect place to unwind in nature. A 4-km hiking trail begins near the beach. It introduces local plant and bird species, with a bird-watching platform also located along the trail.

Tõrvanina Beach is not an officially designated swimming beach, so lifeguards are not on duty. Going into the water is at your own risk.
