A cozy gingerbread workshop at ToreToidu awaits you in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town!

Making gingerbread is a central part of Estonian Christmas traditions, and in our workshop, you can experience it from start to finish. Estonian gingerbread is quite rare in the world – thin, crispy, and always reflecting the personality of its baker.

Over the course of two hours, the ToreToidu kitchen fills with the aroma of gingerbread: together we mix the dough, roll it out, bake it crispy in the oven, and finally decorate the gingerbread. The kitchen fills with a pleasant spicy aroma, creating a genuine holiday atmosphere. Together, we try the freshly made gingerbread alongside hot tea or coffee. Each participant receives a lovely box filled with their homemade treats – a gift for themselves or a friend.

The workshop creates a memorable experience that combines authentic Estonian Christmas traditions, creativity, and the joy of being together.
