Tavern Peetri Toll
Tavern Peetri Toll is in Paldiski, in a historic Customs House surrounded by a green park and two old churches. The building dates back to the time when Peter I founded the military port Baltiyskiy Port, where merchants once declared their goods.
Today, it has become a distinctive eatery where you can enjoy Russian-influenced food in a historic Estonian and Baltic German interior. The menu includes classics such as borsch, dumplings, blini, cabbage and onion pies, and other home-cooked dishes, which are made with great care and a generous hand.
On the second floor of the Tavern, there is a small but meaningful museum where you can explore Paldiski's history: view old city views, seafloor photographs, historical artifacts and weapons. Cultural events are also held in the house from time to time, and groups can reserve food and rooms for gatherings. A tourist information point also operates in the same house.
Tavern Peetri Toll offers a historic culinary experience, a trip back in time, and a meeting place.
