Tartu City Marathon 2027

The Tartu City Marathon is the largest recreational sports event in South Estonia, bringing together thousands of running enthusiasts from both Estonia and abroad every autumn. It is a sporting challenge, a chance to enjoy city life, and a journey through Tartu's most beautiful places.

The route runs through iconic locations: along the Emajõgi River, Toome Hill Park, the historic Old Town, the bohemian Karlova district, and Supilinn, famous for its wooden houses.

You can choose from three distances: 42, 21, and 10 km. The program also includes the entertaining Friday Night Run, where hundreds of runners take to the course in the evening, and a children's run for the youngest family members.

For spectators, the marathon is a special experience — the route is designed so that while cheering on the athletes, one can also enjoy a walk through Tartu's most beautiful places. The Tartu City Marathon is more than a sports competition – it is an autumn sports festival for the whole family.
