Tartu City Day

Every year, on 29 June, Tartu offers many great and exciting things. Recently, visitors have looked for and found Tartu through opera and classical music on Tartu City Day.

On Tartu City Day, the opera will enter the city, play a trick or two and put together everything that it meets on its way. Time and space will definitely be studied – we will travel to the past and future of Tartu – and performances will be carried out in unusual places. The mini festival will also focus on how opera symbioses are born from different genres and interpreters.
