Tallinn Day
Tallinn Day commemorates the granting of Lübeck Rights in 1248. Since then, Tallinn has been part of the legal, cultural, and economic space encompassing European cities.
Tallinn Day celebrates the history of the city and its residents and introduces the capital's past and present to Estonians and visitors from other parts of the world.
A diverse cultural program takes place in Tallinn's Old Town, but smaller events are also held in other parts of the city. Tallinn Day was held for the first time in 2002.
