Small Lapland hike and introduction to sled dogs

We will meet at the Small Lapland Sled Dog and Nature Center to meet friendly Alaskan Malamutes, hug them, and take some cute photos. This meet-and-greet will be followed by an exciting hike in the surrounding area either on snowshoes or cross-country skis or a hike with 2-3 dogs for about 1 hour, during which we will discover ancient riverbeds, bogs, and forests and explore what beavers have been up to. The choice of hiking equipment depends on the weather. When we get back, a campfire, hot tea, and home-cooked, healthy food in a warm room by the fireplace or outside by the fire will be waiting for us.

During the winter, we also enjoy a kicksled ride as part of the adventure.
