Ristna Beach
Ristna Beach is one of the best places in Estonia for surfing, kite surfing, and catching powerful sea waves. Located at the westernmost tip of Hiiumaa, the beach is directly exposed to the winds of the Baltic Sea, and for this reason, some of Estonia's largest waves often form here, especially in autumn and spring. Strong winds, a wide horizon, and the open sea attract experienced surfers as well as visitors who appreciate the force of nature.
The coarse sand and rapidly deepening seabed give Ristna Beach a character that differs from that of many other sandy beaches in Estonia. In stormy weather, you can experience the sea's power in all its authenticity here.
In addition to marine sports, you can explore the small trails along the coast and learn about wartime history on Ristna Peninsula. With a loved one, it is worth stopping at the kissing spot on a hill, which offers a wide view of the sea and the waves breaking on the shore.
Ristna Beach is a place where you can experience the wild character of the Baltic Sea and the most powerful sea force of Hiiumaa.
