Photographic exhibition "Emerging Artists: Baltics and Finland"

Fotografiska has opened the exhibition “Emerging Artists 2026: The Baltics and Finland”, which turns its gaze to the future of photographic art and highlights the rising stars of the Baltics and Finland – a new generation of bold, fresh perspectives that outline the next directions and possible futures of photography.

As a result of an international open competition, artists from all four countries of the region were selected for the exhibition. The exhibition features contemporary artists from Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, and Latvia, whose work provides an overview of the region's young art scene.

The exhibition reveals diverse approaches to contemporary photographic art and highlights the artists' personal experiences, conveyed through photography, which may also contain visual hints characteristic of this region. Fotografiska Tallinn's contemporary and inspiring environment brings together young artists, fresh ideas, and international creative dialogue.
