Orienteering at Ubari Nature Wisdom Center to Wolf's Cave and Badger Town

Come and embark on an orienteering adventure where even your phone might get bored in your pocket!

At the Ubari Nature Wisdom Center, you'll truly learn how to navigate using a map and compass – and discover the glacially shaped landforms of the Ubari Landscape Protection Area calmly, without a "stopwatch." You move at your own pace along a course with 10 checkpoints, which takes you through Wolf Cave and Badger Town, making you notice details that you would otherwise walk past unnoticed.

Each participant receives an orienteering map and compass, learns the basics, makes a sundial themselves, and tests whether the Sun is accurate (hint: it is!). At the end, we take time for discussion: what the landscape "told" us, how the points were found, and what surprised us.

The adventure is suitable for families, friends, and groups; pets are welcome on a leash. We operate by reservation and meet in Kuusalu parish, near the village of Kaberla. Bring your crew and come safely, "get lost" – and enjoy the experience!
