Maamess

The Maamess is the largest trade fair dedicated to rural life in the Baltics, bringing thousands of interested people and hundreds of exhibitors from both Estonia and abroad to Tartu every spring. This unique fair brings together agriculture, forestry, horticulture, and food production.

On the ground, you can see and experience the latest agricultural and forestry techniques: tractors, combines, tools, and farm equipment are on display for both viewing and testing. One of the best parts of the fair is that you can see, touch, and sit inside the devices.

There is also a large area for handicrafts and food, where the products from small Estonian producers, farm food, horticultural products, and local crafts can be found.

For families and children, the fair has diverse educational workshops and activity corners where you can craft, plant, and try out gardening techniques. The fair will also feature thematic demonstrations, precision sawing, and logging sports competitions.
