Kaleste Nature Trail and camping area

Kaleste Nature Trail, near Kaleste Bay in Hiiumaa, takes you through forested dunes and reveals views of diverse coastal ecosystems. Along the trail, you can see old coastal pines, sandy dune ridges, and seaside landscapes that vary within a short walk. The trail is approximately 1.8 km long and takes 30–50 minutes to complete. Information boards along the way provide an overview of the coastal landscape's plants and animals.

The nature trail starts and ends at the information board located at the Kaleste camping area. The area has several campfire sites, sheltered tables, and camping spots, allowing for a longer stay and combining hiking with a seaside retreat. Kaleste Beach is known for its beautiful sandy shore and pleasant swimming conditions.
