Järva-Jaani Local History Museum

Discover the true story of Estonia at the Järva-Jaani Local History Museum in the charming Orina Manor – a place to come for history, education, and technology. The former manor, later a home economics school, holds centuries of wisdom and memories from the local community.

At the manor, you can learn more about the history of Orina Manor, the stories of its former owners, and the background of Järva-Jaani Church and parish. Exhibitions include rooms related to local education and school history, including the history of the home economics school, school life, and parish history.

As an additional service, you can discover the unique 1970s tractor training class revolving stage, where through performance, you can view engines and start them!

The Local History Museum is part of the Järva-Jaani Vintage Technology Museums Center and is located in the Orina Manor building. In the main building, you can visit the Järva-Jaani Firefighting Museum. In the outdoor area of the center, there is the Vintage Technology Sanctuary, and nearby is the Järva-Jaani Cinema Museum. All of these can be visited with a joint ticket.
