Järva-Jaani Cinema Museum

At the Järva-Jaani Cinema Museum, you can see the film production process almost from start to finish: lighting equipment, cameras, a small film developing tank, an editing table, a device for "splicing together" sound and picture, and a large collection of projection devices.

A movie picture is also demonstrated, accompanied by a buzzing device. Devices can be operated using electricity generated by a mobile cinema generator. The house also features a TV studio, and in the yard, you can explore a television broadcasting station bus. An Estonian map is installed on the building's wall, marking all the filming locations of Estonian feature films. You can visit the Järva-Jaani Cinema Museum with a guide by prior arrangement.

The Cinema Museum is part of the Järva-Jaani Vintage Technology Museum Center and is located in the Järva-Jaani settlement. In the main building of the center, you can visit the Järva-Jaani Firefighting Museum and learn about the history of Järva-Jaani. The center's outdoor area includes a vintage technology shelter, and nearby is the Järva-Jaani Local History Museum. All of these can be visited with a joint ticket.
