International Short Film and Animation Festival PÖFF Shorts

PÖFF Shorts is a sub-festival of the Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) that focuses on short films and animations. The festival brings big stories in short films to the audience, divided into three international competition programs and numerous special screenings. During one session, you can see several films created by different filmmakers in various genres and techniques. There are shorts for everyone, in any weather!

The winners of the best short, best short animation, and best Estonian film titles have the right to compete for the American Film Academy Award. Among the eligible European films, Shorts also selects a short film nominee for the European Film Academy Award.
