Hooked on Estonia! Festival, May 23rd in Stockholm

Estonia comes to meet Stockholm again! Discover an Estonia type of day!

Hooked on Estonia – a one-day festival in Stockholm

For the 2nd time and for one day only, Estonia comes to life at Rosendals Trädgård, bringing its boldest flavours, freshest beats and most vibrant creative energy to Stockholm’s lush Djurgården.

Tallinn is a city of contrasts and surprises and so is the rest of Estonia. It’s where centuries-old cobblestones meet cutting-edge creativity, where tradition flirts with innovation, and where cuisine, culture and design collide in the most delicious ways.

This pop-up festival is your fast-track ticket to best of Estonia. Expect next-generation chefs and forest-foraged bites, soul-stirring music, sustainable design, and an atmosphere made for curious urban explorers, flavour seekers and culture lovers of all ages.

Created in collaboration between two places that share a deep appreciation for nature, creativity and the joy of gathering, the festival captures something more than a destination.

Because Estonia isn’t just a place on the map.
It’s a feeling. A rhythm. A surprise waiting to be uncovered.

Date: Saturday, 23 May, 11:00–20:00

Festival program:

Ready for inspiring design, great music, delicious tastings, and plenty of unique activities, all Estonian?
You’ll experience the buzz of the capital Tallinn, island time with Saaremaa and Hiiumaa (think smoked fish and juniper treats), Viljandi with its folk spirit, the bohemian university town Tartu, the seaside charm of Laulasmaa & adventurous surroundings of Tallinn, where city edges meet wild nature. Each region is brought to life side by side with its chefs and kitchens - the people who turn local flavours into memorable experiences.

Food is at the heart of the festival. Some of Estonia’s most exciting restaurants, bakers & drink producers will serve everything from forest-inspired fine dining & modern bistro dishes to burgers, pastries, craft cocktails, berry wines & artisanal beers. Expect flavours shaped by Nordic nature, seasonality, fermentation, fire, foraging and circular gastronomy.
Partners include HIIS Restaurant, Fotografiska Tallinn, Lore Bistro, TOKO Restaurant, TERRA Restaurant, Pilguse Residency, Ott & Matilda Café and VLND Burger - alongside drinks from Punch Club, Põhjala Brewery and more.

We are also partnering with Tallinn Music Week (TMW) - one of Europe's most acclaimed new music and city culture festivals and international industry conferences, which just held its 18th edition in Tallinn - and I Land Sound, an electronic music and arts festival from Saaremaa island. TMW showcases some of Estonia's most esteemed live acts on a stage at Rosendal, while I Land Sound presents the festival's signature DJs.

Our friends at Tallink Silja Line will host the family programme, where the mini-festival goers can also have some creative fun. Scroll down for special price codes for a ferry trip to Estonia!
Oh, and we need to mention the sauna! IgluCraft is bringing theirs for you to have a warm walk in. LaSpa adds a Sauna Master to perform sauna rituals in the tiny Iglu.

Culture Scouts, Flavour Seekers and Natural Nomads warmly welcome!

Tallinn Music Week stage:

The ROCKET – Svante Söderqvist Trio & Tuulikki Bartosik

Swedish bass maestro Söderqvist fronts a Nordic chamber jazz ensemble of rare cinematic depth, with Estonian accordion innovator Bartosik as a key collaborator. New album Like in the Movies: praised for vivid atmosphere and narrative heart — music that unfolds like scenes you don't want to leave.

Anna Kaneelina & Erki Pärnoja

Anna Kaneelina is one of Estonia's most distinctive voices, blending raw vulnerability and haunting strength. Drawing echoes of Kate Bush and PJ Harvey, her songs stay with you like a recurring dream. Erki Pärnoja weaves his signature guitar layer by layer, loop by loop — holding space for a voice that, once it finds you, doesn't let go.

Erki Pärnoja performs Himmelbjerget

Three-time Estonian Music Award winner crafting cinematic guitar soundscapes where Nordic psychedelia meets Morricone. His album Himmelbjerget (2015) — named after a Danish mountain, in collaboration with Swedish drummer Ulrik Ording — is "music for a film yet not made".

Duo Ruut

Two voices, one zither — a Glastonbury-approved, Guardian-celebrated folk phenomenon. Artist of the Year at Estonia's Ethno Music Awards 2025 and nominated for the German Record Critics' Award. One of Estonia's finest folk exports, gone gloriously, irresistibly global.
