Guided walking tour of the abandoned Astangu military base

Visit the fascinating tunnel warehouses of Peter the Great's sea fortress and historic Astangu!

We will walk through underground tunnels, where mines, torpedoes, and ammunition were once stored and where bats hibernate for the winter. We will learn more about these mystical animals and explore areas where collapsed tunnels have created mysterious mini-islands underground. 

Astangu forest is special as it is the most species-rich area in Tallinn — 80 species of birds live there. We will walk on former railway embankments and admire the views from the 15-meter-high Mäeküla limestone ridge.
