Gingerbread workshop at Kallaste Farm

Kallaste Farm in Padise is a place where even the most stubborn “I can’t bake” turns into a gingerbread master. We roll out dough, cut fun shapes with molds, and bake them until golden brown – but the real party starts when the glazes and chocolate are brought to the table! The bold can also try stained-glass gingerbread – they are like edible works of art.

Why here? The gingerbread tradition reached Estonia via the Hanseatic trade routes that passed directly through Padise Monastery. Our farm is a stone's throw away from the monastery, so sweet history and gingerbread are as natural a combo here as hot tea and cold winter weather. And we bake gingerbread all year round!

Whether with friends, family, or colleagues, the gingerbread workshop lasts 1 to 2 hours and ends with laughter, warm tea, and your own handcrafted treat. Come, get your apron dusty and your mouth sweet – life is too short not to make gingerbread!
