Exhibition "Dives Toletana: Treasures of Toledo Cathedral from Medieval to El Greco"

Toledo Cathedral, the heart of Spanish faith and art, opens its extraordinary treasury and invites you to Niguliste Museum for a journey spanning over a thousand years from the Visigoths to Spain's Golden Age. The exhibition showcases rare textiles, paintings, and liturgical items from the 11th to the 17th century, from the Middle Ages to the works of El Greco and José de Ribera. It is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the death of the Tallinn-born artist Michel Sittow, whose international career began at the Toledo Cathedral, and also marks the upcoming 800th anniversary of the cathedral.

The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Toledo Cathedral, the Santa Cruz Museum, and the autonomous region of Castilla-La Mancha.
