Conference and seminar rooms of Lodjakoja
A short walk from the center of Tartu, at Lodjakoja, right on the banks of the Emajõgi River, wooden ships from the Hanseatic era, called lotjas, are being built. These were once the pride of Estonia's inland waters. This unique place is also one of Tartu's most popular event venues.
The largest part of the complex, the shipbuilding hall, accommodates up to 250 people. For larger events, the hall can be connected to the outdoor area. Options include a seminar room for 40, an upper-floor seminar room for 35, and a woodworking hall for 75 guests. The sauna complex on the riverbank is suitable for groups of up to 15 people.
All rooms are equipped with all necessary presentation technology. The on-site café handles catering and food services.
On-the-water events are extra special in the wooden lotjas – Suur Sume (up to 120 participants) and Jõmmu (36 participants). The program can be enriched with nature-themed excursions, shipbuilding workshops, and guided boat trips.
By organizing an event at Lodjakoja, you support the revival of Tartu's inland water heritage and create an authentic experience for participants!
