Alley of sculptures in Pärnu Beach Park
Pärnu is known for its rich cultural life and beautiful parks. Right in the heart of this resort town, within reach of the sound of the sea, you'll find the sculpture alley of Pärnu Beach Park – a unique international open-air exhibition. This exciting art space began in 2001 with the initiative of local artist Rait Pärja, bringing contemporary art directly into the urban environment and nature's embrace.
On a walk along the alley, you can admire works by talented sculptors from the USA, Japan, France, and several European countries. Exciting materials such as dolomite, granite, steel, cast iron, concrete, and wood have been used to create the sculptures. Each work has an information board that describes its background.
After discovering the sculptures, there is a great opportunity to head directly to the iconic Pärnu Beach to enjoy a romantic sunset or a refreshing culinary experience at Villa Ammende restaurant.
