Rebala Centre-Museum
Rebala Heritage Reserve is located a 20-minute drive away in Jõelähtme Rural Municipality. It is an ancient cultural landscape of rich historical heritage on both sides of the Narva highway. Within the area of 74 square kilometres there are several villages, which are about two thousand years old and more than 300 archaeological remains originating from the Neolithic period.
In Jõelähtme, right at the side of highway and in the centre of Rebala Heritage Reserve, there is the Rebala Centre-Museum, where you can find information about the region, the unique stone graves, and possibilities related to the Rebala area and the heritage.
The region's namesake village Rebala has given its name to the ancient Repel Parish, later the Reval County and the city of Tallinn (Reval).
