Harilaiu hiking trails and camping area

The Harilaiu Peninsula is one of the oldest, most beautiful parts of Vilsandi National Park. The park's interesting fauna, flora, and geology have been under protection since 1924.

Wonderful coastal nature awaits you on the Harilaiu hiking trail. You can choose between two hiking trails – 6km and 11 km. The shorter trail turns left before Laialepa Bay and takes you to the other side of the peninsula. If you hike the longer trail, you will see Kiipsaare Lighthouse, wind-swept trees and bushes, golden beach sand, and a rocky coastline. The western coast of Harilaiu is also a good place for bird- and seal-watching.

Leave your car in the parking lot and enjoy the trail in summer or winter.
