Spring `Katkuallikas`

South of Simuna church situates spring Katkuallikas that is from where starts 122 km long Pedja river. "Katk" meant in old verbiage a "spring hole". The spring that situates under the floor of milk cooling shed is very water-rich giving to the river so much water that it is possible to start a canoe trip along river Pedja. Near the spring there is a rest place with swing and sitting place. Also here finishes nature educational and tracking path of Simuna school that start from behind the school.
