Mukri Nature Trail

Mukri Bog was formed about 10,000 years ago and is considered one of the oldest bogs in Estonia.

A boardwalk leads to the bog and is also suitable for hiking with children. In the heart of the bog is the 2.2-hectare Mukri Lake with islets and water lilies — the brave can swim here. In late summer, you can treat yourself to berries picked from the bog.

The 18-meter-high observation tower offers a wonderful view of the entire bog. To make the experience even more exciting, go on a bogshoe hike! At one end of the trail is a nice picnic spot where you can rest and have a meal after your hike.

Come and enjoy the beauty and silence of Mukri Bog!
