Seikle Vabaks bogshoe hike in Soomaa National Park
Estonia's largest national park, Soomaa National Park, was established to protect large bog massifs, with about half of the entire park area covered by wetlands and bogs. Soomaa National Park is part of the European protected areas network Natura 2000. There are a total of five large bogs here, which are the best places in Estonia for bog shoe hiking and exploring bog landscapes!
We hike year-round with bogshoes in Soomaa's largest bog, Kuresoo Bog. Here are picturesque bog lakes, a hiking trail, and an observation tower with a beautiful view. In spring, we enjoy flowers and birdsong, in summer, you can cool off with a swim in the bog lake, in autumn, we pick cranberries, and in winter, we make a warming campfire and enjoy hot tea.
The hike includes:
- guide service
- bogshoes
- light snack and drink
Put on your bogshoes and discover the bogs of Estonia's largest national park!
