Saaremaa Peony Gardens – a romantic garden in the heart of the island
Saaremaa Peony Gardens is the largest peony garden in Europe.
Spread over four hectares, this garden is the size of about six full-size football fields and consists of several themed gardens.
Thousands of peonies are grown for cut flowers in the garden: it is the first and only plantation that grows peonies for cut flowers in Northern Europe. In the gardens next to the peonies, there is a large collection of uncommon herbs and berries and fruit plantations.
Saaremaa Peony Gardens is open to visitors both before and after the peonies bloom. The gardens are beautiful throughout the four seasons.
