Rannametsa-Tolkuse nature trail

Marvel at the wonderful nature of Pärnu County! This nature trail takes you to the heart of the area's most beautiful landscapes!

Rannametsa dunes are known for their impressive views and natural diversity. To better introduce them, a convenient 2.2 km circular educational trail has been established. Part of the path runs on a boardwalk, which leads through a pine forest and over Tolkuse bog, passing bog lakes, information boards, and rest areas.

The trail also heads to the largest bog pool in Tolkuse bog where you can sit and admire the view of the lake or go for a swim. On the high dune of Rannametsa, there is the Tornimäe observation tower, which offers a mesmerizing view of the bog and Pärnu Bay. The trail is accessible from the parking lot to the bog pool and back, even with a wheelchair and stroller.

On the other side of the road, a staircase leads to the Tõotusemäe campfire site – a recreational area where you can make a fire, rest under a shelter, and use a dry toilet.

On your journey, we recommend visiting the Lottemaa theme park and tasting the delicious pastries at Pärnamäe Café.
