Peipsi Food Street 175 km

Peipsi Food Street 175 km will take place from Vasknarva to Setomaa. As part of this event, 40 two-day restaurants will be opened, offering modern and traditional dishes made from pure Peipsi County ingredients.

"Peipsi Toit" refers to everything that is grown in the region, or provided by the lake, forests, fields, bogs, and marshes.

Various fish from Lake Peipsi will be served in various ways, including fried, salted, grilled, marinated, and smoked, or as fish dumplings, soup, and pies. Meat lovers will be offered dishes of roe deer, elk, beaver, rabbit, goat, lamb, and beef. Wild mushrooms will be featured in pies, soups, salads, and dumplings. And side dishes from the field and garden will accompany the mains. Cooks will prepare desserts and pastries based on grandmothers' recipes, as well as new hits such as cucumber or chanterelle ice cream.

In addition to food from the Peipsi region, you can enjoy cultural programs and performers, watch exhibitions, and buy local food and drinks. All of this is authentic, real, and natural.
