Muhu Museum
Koguva village on the west coast of Muhu Island is one of the most outstanding examples of rural Estonian architecture!
Muhu Museum operates in four houses in the village:
1. Tooma Farm is the birthplace of writer Juhan Smuul. It introduces farm architecture and the history of Muhu and Koguva through its buildings and farm equipment.
2. Everything in the village schoolhouse is exactly as it was at the beginning of the last century.
3. On the second floor of Välja Farm, you can see handicrafts made by women from Muhu Island.
4. There is a small souvenir shop in the Art Stable, and various exhibitions are held there.
Most of the village's buildings are privately owned. Follow the village plan and orange directional signs to the museum!
