The three-day cycling route, which takes its participants from Kuressaare to Tehumardi to Viidumäe Nature Reserve, is suitable for everyone. There is a lake with a coastal dune and a 2–4-metre active terrace near Tehumardi. The dunes are covered with pine forests and the sandy beach is perfect for swimming.
The most exciting part of the route, however, is Sõrve Peninsula, where Viieristi Nature Reserve and Ohessaare Landscape Protection Area are located. Sõrve neck connects Saaremaa to the peninsula and Salme River marks the location of a channel, which disappeared about 2,000 years ago. Ancient Viking-era ships have been found in Salme.
A lovely cycle and pedestrian track leads from Kuressaare to Salme.
